WECONNEX: Investment round successfully completed

After a not so easy fund-raising phase, WECONNEX was finally able to successfully complete the planned capital increase in July.

The Fortimo Group from St. Gallen decided to invest first. The Group is not only a shareholder of WECONNEX AG, but is also investing into the NEXUS Project in Nepal with a loan.

With Mr. Thomas Angehrn we were able to win another well-known entrepreneur from Appenzell Ausserrhoden for our project. The possibility of a sustainable investment in the development sector with multilateral impact convinced him to participate in the capital increase.

Mr. Ernst and Peter Eisenhut complete this investment round. Their experience from the financial industry or the public economy and politics will bring the necessary far-sightedness into WECONNEX.

The fresh capital as well as the network of the new shareholders will help us to develop NEXUS projects in Nepal and soon in other countries too.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank our new partners for their trust and look forward to a successful cooperation!
