WECONNEX recently increased the team in Nepal and hired a new project manager: Bhakta Karki will head the new NEXUS Farmers Company (NEFACO). This company is responsible for implementing the extended NEXUS Concept in Nepal and is gradually taking over the activities of NEXUS Technology P. Ltd.
Bhakta has more than 7 years of relevant experience in managing projects and programs focused on climate change, food security, agriculture and natural resource management. He successfully linked these projects with his interest in pro-poor economic growth by creating business models that enable sustainable economic and social development.
He is thus a great extension of our Nepal Team and we are excited to have him on board. More details on his person will follow in a ‘soon-to-be-published’ Humans of NEXUS story.
